[English Department] English Week

Our English Week began on Monday 14th December and ran until Friday 18th December.
During the week we had assembly announcement every morning. We had activities during every lunchtime and for every session after school.
These activities include:
-Board Games in the covered playground
-A concert by the school's rock band featuring English songs. This was jointly produced by the Music Society.
-A video of a drama production by our Drama Club
-Game booths
Our flagship event, the Primary School Visits was opened by our guest of Honour Mr. Howard Liu, the Principal of CSK primary school. The English Society created game booths in the school hall. The games were: 'Spot the job', 'which capital', 'Spot the difference', 'Tongue Twister' and 'Guess the word'.
These activities took place every day during lunch break, starting at 12:20 and finishing at 12:55. CSK boys enthusiastically tried out all the games. The after school sessions were also well attended.
Two special sessions were held for our invited guests from the primary school sector. On Thurs 17th December, 180 primary students came with their teachers from Chan Sui Ki (La Salle) Primary School.
On Friday 18th December, a small group of 18 students came from Fung Kei Millennium Primary School. It was our intention to give our guests a warm welcome and to have lots of fun. Everyone had a memorable time and the primary school students went away with lots of prizes and broad smiles on their faces.
The English Language Society wishes to extend its thanks to all its members who helped to organize all the events of English Week. We are sure all our guests and students enjoyed themselves.
