Fellow pupils from Forms 4 and 5 from C.S.K. marked a proud milestone last month as they stepped into the South China Morning Post newsroom to record the culmination of their news anchoring course, run by SCMP. After weeks of training in presentation skills, script writing, and on camera delivery, the students had the exciting opportunity to put their new skills into practice at a professional news desk, delivering their reports in front of real studio cameras. The visit not only gave them a glimpse 'behind the scenes' of how a newsroom operates but also offered the experience and thrill of live-style news reporting as a news anchor.
