On 25th November 2020, an EDB official, two members from the HKU, and 4 teachers of HKMA David Li Kwok Po College were invited to the open classroom of Mr C H Ho as part of the School-based Support Programme on Developing Curriculum Materials to Enhance Teaching the Science Education Key Learning Area in the English Medium organized by the INSTEP Office, Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong and commissioned by the Education Bureau.
During this integrated science lesson, a Language-across-the-curriculum (LAC) approach was adopted to enhance the effectiveness of Mr Ho’s teaching as well as the learning of our S.2B students on the topic “Series Circuit vs Parallel Circuit”.
After the lesson, all observers provided positive feedback for this enjoyable lesson.
