The School Library & Reading Promotion Committee and the Moral, Civic and National Education Section jointly promoted the “Read for Charity” Program this year. The aim of the program was to foster a love of reading among students while raising funds to support families in need.
All books and e-books borrowed from the School Library in January and February were included in the program. A total of 378 students from Secondary 1 to 5 participated, reading over 1,000 books and collectively raising $7,916. The success of the program not only encouraged students to develop good reading habits, but also demonstrated their care and support for the community.
