Global Program 3.0 – Global Project: Young Talents Connect Through Traditional Games
Five Lasallians participated in the regional online cultural exchange programme named Global Program 3.0 – Global Project on our school’s behalf. Our school is honoured to collaborate with 7 other schools from Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong China, and Japan, including the host ELCHK Yuen Long Lutheran Secondary School, Pinghu Donghu Middle School (Zhejiang Province), Guangzhou No. 3 Middle School, Xinjiang Hotan No. 5 Middle School, Lingnan Secondary School, Fukui Prefectural Usui Senior High School, J. F. Oberlin Junior and Senior High School, and Momoyama Junior High School Attached to Kyoto University of Education.
The event was themed around traditional games, allowing students to interact and exchange through game culture, learn about the unique characteristics of different regions, and forge deep friendships. The programme is organised by the English Department. Our school chose aeroplane chess as our traditional game. Our boys participated in three sessions, featuring presentations and interactions with peers from other places.
The programme concluded on 25 March. Our principal, Ms. Fiona Lee, also participated in the closing ceremony.
