The Voluntary Services Group recruited 18 volunteers and visited Hong Kong Rabbit Society for the voluntary service. Our student volunteers helped to clean the cages and take care of the abandoned rabbits on 4 February 2024 and 3 March 2024. The voluntary service allowed them to develop empathy, compassion and a sense of responsibility towards animals. Caring for rabbits can also teach our students patience, problem-solving skills and the ability to work as a part of a team. It was an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
