On the first day of school, CSK was blessed by the Opening Mass celebrated by Reverend Vincent Woo CICM. In the Homily, he shared the meaning of virtue and encouraged us to live a virtuous life. A virtue is a habitual and firm disposition to do the good. It allows the person not only to perform good acts, but to give the best of himself. The term virtue in Latin (virtus) signifies power, strength, and ability. Thus the virtues are habits that give us the power to act in a manly way, with strength sufficient to do what is right. The Opening Mass came to the end with the blessing of our guest celebrant.
