[Reading-to-learn] Reading Talk
A senior reading Talk on the topic of 喜馬拉雅山上給女兒的信 was held on 25th January,2010 at the 8th period. Our guest speaker was Mr Ho Wing Yip (何永業先生).

[English Department] Inter-class Speech Contest 2009-2010 - English Section
The Inter-class Speech Contest was successfully held on 20th January 2010 in the School Hall. Junior form competition was held in the first three lessons while senior form competition was held in the last three lessons. Our Native English Teacher, Mr A Beynon, was invited to be the adjudicator. Students were asked to perform a poem on stage. Mr A Beynon commented that students were generally confident when they were standing on the stage. He also claimed that the contest served as a chance for students to practice their speaking skills. He said he understood that reading a poem is a nerve-racking experience for some students, but he thought they did well in the competition. He encouraged students to join the Speech Contest next year. Winner
