[Biology Department, Moral and Civic Education Section] A Visit to Mai Po
The Environmental Education Group and Biology subject panel organized a visit to "Mai Po Nature Reserve" on 11 May 2012. It was hoped that such a visit could not only broaden the students' horizons but also help the students to gain a better understanding of the Mai Po Nature Reserve and Mangroves.

[Extra-curricular Activities Section] Interview with Teachers
A brand new activity organized by the Student Association called an Interview with Teachers(薈粹) was successfully held during the lunch break on 7th May. It aimed at enhancing the relationship between students and teachers. Mr Siu Ming Hin was invited as the guest in the first interview. More than 50 students came and supported Mr Siu.

[Visual Arts Department] Visual Arts Exhibition 2011-2012
Visual Arts Department held a visual arts exhibition from 2-4 May 2012. The works of Form 1- 4 students, including sketches, illustrations, 3D pop up art, stencil pattern designs and creatures sculptures, were exhibited. Meanwhile, teachers shared their photos in the photo gallery as well.
Apart from the exhibits, there were booths at which students made shrink plastic art key rings. Both students and teachers enjoyed making key rings of their own styles.

[Extra-curricular Activities Section] SA Sheung Wo Club (Basketball)
The basketball event of Sheung Wo Cup was successfully held on 30th April, 2nd and 3rd May at Wa Ying College and our school. It was a basketball competition jointly organized by Chan Sui Ki (La Salle) College, Wa Ying College, Hoi Ping Commercial Chamber Secondary School and YWCA Hioe Tjo Yoeng College.

[Extra-curricular Activities Section] SA Sheung Wo Club (Dodge Ball)
The dodge ball event of Sheung Wo Cup was successfully held on 14th and 15th February at YWCA Hioe Tjo Yoeng College. It was a dodge ball competition jointly organized by Chan Sui Ki (La Salle) College, Wa Ying College, Hoi Ping Commercial Chamber Secondary School and YWCA Hioe Tjo Yoeng College.

[Extra-curricular Activities Section] SA Exchange Programme
The Christian Brothers' Schools Exchange Programme 2012 was successfully held in April. It is co-organized by La Salle College, Chong Gene Hang College and De La Salle Secondary School NT and our school. This exchange programme has been held for many years to help us to build up a sense of responsibility to cherish the honourable legacy Lasallian Schools have in common.
Totally 10 F4 students from our school went to La Salle College and Chong Gene Hang College, and 11 students from La Salle College, Chong Gene Hang College and De La Salle Secondary School NT came to our school for exchange.

[School Library, English Department, Reading Promotion Committee] World Book Day & School Book Fair Report
Our School Book Fair was held successfully in the hall on the World Book Day, 23rd & 24th April 2012. All Form 1 to Form 3 students and most of our Form 4 & Form 5 students visited the book fair. A lot of English & Chinese fiction and non-fiction books and supplementary exercise books were displayed at the book fair. More than 400 books were sold to our students and teachers. The top 5 books sold were:
1. 國王遊戲
2. 飢餓遊戲三部曲
3. Q版特工28裂島
4. 那些年，我們一起追的女孩
5. Five People You Meet In Heaven

[Music Department] 2012 All Chinese Wind Band Competition in Taiwan
40 students represented our School Wind Band to take part in the 2012 All Chinese Wind Band Competition in Taiwan on 21st April 2012. The band was awarded the bronze prize in the competition. During the 4-day tour, the wind band members joined some master classes and watched two concerts organized by the organization. Our members gained valuable experience in this 4-day music event.
