On the first day of school, CSK was blessed by the Opening Mass celebrated by Reverend Father Matthew Chan, SDB. In the Homily, Father Chan made use of the survival film All is Lost to share his view on courage. He also reminded students of the meaning of the chevrons embroidered on the school tie. Teachers and students received the Communion, reflecting on Christ's sacrifice and looking forward to his return. The Opening Mass came to the end with the blessing of Father Chan.
