[Others] Hong Kong Lasallian Family Gathering
Over 300 Hong Kong Lasallian Family members, including 32 CSK teachers, old boys, parents and students joined a Lasallian Family Gathering Ceremony to welcome Brother Alvaro Rodriguez, Superior General, and Brother David Hawke, General Councillor in La Salle College. In the ceremony, there were speeches, student performances, group photo-taking and a dinner buffet that created a strong sense of unity to the Lasallian family in the world.

[Moral and Civic Education] Health Sharing
Some of our students from F.3E have joined the Joint-school Health Ambassadors Training Scheme in this school year. The two student representatives, namely Shizh Lui-kit and Pau Sai-kit, shared their experiences with their schoolmates in order to arouse their concern on the importance of a drug-free school campus. Besides, a health newsletter was distributed to every student to enhance understanding of the harmful effects of drug abuse.

[Moral and Civic Education, Disciplinary Board] Hall Talk
There was a talk about cyber crime co-organized by the Civic Education Group, the Disciplinary Board and the Hong Kong Police Force which was conducted by Mr Lam Cheuk Yuen, the representative from the Hong Kong Police Force, in the school hall for Form 1 -3 students after school on 24th March 2010.

[English Department, Integrated Science Department] Teachers as Guest Speakers in a Seminar Organized by the Education Bureau
Ms Y M Lee and Mr W L Yeung were invited by the Education and Manpower Bureau to be the guest speakers in a seminar captioned "Maximising the benefits of English-medium instruction through cross-curricular planning and collaboration at junior secondary levels". They shared their experience of a project they did in the school year with more than 200 principals, vice-principals and teachers from other schools. It is a project to help students learn English in Integrated Science. The project required the collaboration of the English and the Science teachers. It is found that students enjoyed the activities and they gave very positive feedback.

[Extra-curricular Activities] Transport Society Board Game Competition
Transport Society successfully held a student-teacher board game competition on 22nd March 2010 during lunch break in the covered playground. The members of the winning team are Mr. T.S. Wong, Mr. C.T. Leung, Tang Ho Man (1A 28) and Tsang Wing Kit (1A 30). Congratulations to all winners. Gratitude is extended to participating teachers, namely, Mr. M.H. Ying, Ms Y.M. Law, Mr. K.Y. Lai, Mrs. A. Lau, Ms. Y.Y. Kwan, Mr. T.S. Wong and Mr. C.T. Leung.

[Mathematics Department] Inter-class Mathematics Quiz 2010
The Inter-class Mathematics Quiz 2010 was held in February this year. Certificates of appreciation and book coupons were awarded to the following winners in recognition of their hard work and achievement.
