[English Department] SCMP-Nesta Inter-School Debating Competition
Our English Debating Team beat the debating team from Shek Lei Catholic Secondary School last Friday, 12 March 2010. The motion is 'That celebrity tutors are good value for money'. We were the negative. The three debaters, Chan Yi Tian, Thomas (4E), Cheung Ki Lok, Henry (4E) and Ho Shing Yue, Louis (3E) performed very well. Congratulations!

[Extra-curricular Activities] Drama Performance
On 1 March 2010, it was the great day for Drama Club. Drama Club organized an annual performance named "再見，大龍鳳" and this play entered the Hong Kong Schools Drama Festival 2010. There were altogether 31 students taking part as actors and back stage helpers. This was a very memorable moment for them. All Form 1 students and judges from HKAPA enjoyed the play. 在三月一日，戲劇學會於學校禮堂上演了一齣名為「再見，大龍鳳」的話劇，而這齣話劇亦參與了香港學校戲劇節2009/10。三十一名學生積極地參與台前幕後的工作，令來自香港演藝學院的評判及台下觀眾更投入是次演出。

[Reading-to-learn] Prize Giving Ceremony
The first Chinese and English Reading Quiz was held successfully last month. Students had to read one Chinese book and one English book. After reading , they had to answer some questions related to the books. Junior form students found it interesting to read the famous Chinese novels <<西遊記>>, <<三國演義>> and <<水滸傳>>. At the Controls? by Neil Anderson deals with the pros and cons of playing computer games.
Senior form students had to read <<學習就這八件事>>. They also read an article about how to lose weight from February's Readers' Digest.
